SPACE Technologies

Explore our Technologies

SPACE Data Centre is equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure designed to support high-throughput data processing and storage. Our facility offers robust computational resources, ensuring seamless data management and security. With scalable storage solutions, we cater to the growing needs of scientific research, providing an environment where data integrity and accessibility are paramount.

Serial two-photon tomography (STPT)

The Serial Two-Photon Tomography (STPT) instrument is an advanced 3D volumetric imaging platform developed by TissueVision. By integrating precision vibratome sectioning with two-photon microscopy, STPT enables distortion-free three-dimensional reconstruction of biological tissues measuring up to several centimetres in size.

Multiplexed Protein Imaging

Imaging Mass Cytometry is a multiplexed imaging technology that uses mass spectrometry to identify up to 35 different biomarkers, and can be used with tissue sections or in suspension. Tissue is stained with metal-tagged antibodies and ablated with a laser. Time-of-flight technology identifies the specific metal isotopes present and generates a 1x1um resolution image for spatial analysis.

Spatial Transcriptomics

By employing multiplexed protein imaging, researchers can gain insights into the complex protein networks that drive cellular functions and disease mechanisms. This technology is particularly beneficial in identifying biomarkers and understanding the heterogeneity of diseases at a molecular level.
